Mommy's Girl

So, I finally decided to sew something for me to wear. I've made Kate a lot recently and she's not even getting to wear it all. I love Bohemian-inspired summer skirts, and since I've got the elastic-waisted skirt-making thing down, I thought I'd make one just for me! But what to do with the scraps? Oh, okay, Kate, here's a matching skirt for you too! I just couldn't help my self!

It's our first mother-daughter outfit. I love how they turned out. We're so cute in our skirts!
I'm thinking we'll need lots of matching clothes from now on. 'Cause even if she doesn't look like me, she can at least dress like me right?

  1. I left a comment previously, but am not sure it went through.

I am amazed at your ability to make an outfit for Kate in 45 minutes! It takes me that long to thread up my machine (exaggeration, of course). I love your skirt.
